Plainsong is in a pre-release track. This page is for product questions, privacy notes, accessibility issues, local transcription feedback, or questions about release timing. A short, plain note is enough.
What to send
Good feedback does not need to be polished. The useful details are what you were trying to capture, what context needed to survive, and where the current flow made the record harder to trust. When something fails, naming the moment helps most:
- Your operating system and the capture mode involved, dictation, meeting capture, speaker labels, local AI review, export, or release access.
- The setting the work lives in: solo dictation, interview notes, support follow-up, planning calls, classroom notes, or another spoken workflow.
- Where spoken work stops being useful, capture quality, transcription accuracy, speaker separation, review friction, export format, or the handoff into another tool.
- If you are comparing Plainsong with another tool, the part that already works and the part that still costs time. That is more useful than a broad feature request.
These details keep the public roadmap grounded in real use, and make it easier to separate a transcription issue from a product-positioning one.
A note on safety
Do not send passwords, private transcripts, confidential recordings, API keys, or production credentials by email. Describe the issue first, and a safer channel can be chosen if sensitive context is genuinely needed.
